为提高教师教学能力，促进教学质量提高，教师发展中心将开发校内外培训资源为教师提供高质量进修课程。为提高教师国际化水平，了解国际一流大学教学科研方法，教师发展中心尝试引进部分国外成熟的教师培训课程。3月16日邀请了英国高等教育研究院专业培训师开设以创新教学法为主题的工作坊。该培训师从事高等教育研究多年，曾获得英国教学创新方法国家级奖励。工作坊具体安排如下：

时间：16日上午9：00——11:30

      17日上午9：00——11:30

地点：永泰红磡馆（EDP中心）允公厅

两次工作坊内容相同，拟报名教师可根据自己时间安排参加。工作坊为英文授课，为保证互动教学效果每次限报人数为20人，报满即止,报名截止至3月10日下午6:00。请报名的教师发送所在学院、姓名、专业及联系方式至jsfz@nankai.edu.cn邮箱。课程提纲附后。

Innovative pedagogy

 

Aim of the workshop:

To evaluate recent developments in learning, teaching and assessment within Higher Education.

 

Objectives

• Academic staff better informed on new ways of learning, teaching and assessment in order to enhance the student learning experience.
• Academic staff in a better position to adapt to change and foster innovation in their own practice.

 

Content:

By reflecting not just on how methods of learning, teaching and assessment are changing but also why they are changing, participants will evaluate to what extent particular developments are innovations or just improvements. By consideration of both practical examples of innovation and also the underlying principles and theories, participants will judge where the main innovations are now occurring.

Method

This will be an interactive session where you will be encouraged to share and develop your own understanding of innovative pedagogy and identify strategies to improve your own practice. By actively taking part in particular examples, you will experience some of the main underlying principles of innovative pedagogy. In preparation for the workshop please read the report ‘A marked improvement’.
